The pilot finishes off the experience nicely with a picnic and tales of competitive flying.

In spite of the fact that Sedona is chock full of new age enlightenment and gurus who happily to help you with emotional bonding and take you on spiritual vortex adventures, for those with a more scientific bent, there is the option of stargazing with professional astronomers. Where to Eat on a romantic Getaway in Sedona.When you are finished admiring the natural features of Sedona, you can slake your thirst at the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill. The German family, Krauss, came to Sedona in 1993 to share their knowledge and love of beer with Americans. In addition to a wide variety of beers that you can drink one at a time or in sampler packs, they have a wide variety of food on offer, like beer battered fish and chips, baby back ribs with their own home made barbecue sauce, or even beer simmered bratwurst.

If you are not in the mood to eat out, there are a number of picturesque and romantic picnic locations in the Sedona area. At Crescent Moon, you can fish for your dinner, and there are plenty of barbecue grills in the area for cooking it up after you have caught it. Grasshopper Point, near Oak Creek Canyon is another good picnicking option, especially in summer since it boasts a cliff-side swimming hole.

In short, Sedona is full of options for couples who just want to get away from it all and reconnect.
