Here you will find out more about a Honeymoon in Orlando
| Disney World Honeymoon|
There is no question that the Mouse rules Orlando, and Disney is probably the most popular honeymoon destination of all Florida honeymoons. While you might think of Disney as being for children, there are many ways that it offers romance too. Disney has whole packages just for lovers, and those at their deluxe hotels are fantastic. Or, if you want to spend some time at the park and have the benefit of a cruise, you can hop on one of Disney’s premier ships and have the best of both worlds. The best part about Florida honeymoons packages here is that Disney works very hard at personalizing your trip. You’ll be given plenty of options for “couple time” including spa treatments, private excursions, and a horse and buggy ride throughout the park. Find out more Disney World honeymoon
Emerald Coast Honeymoon: Key West Honeymoons
U.S. Highway 98 runs from Mexico Beach to St. Marks. If you and your partner want to do a tour by car, this 300 miles of roadway offers amazing views and photo opportunities. This area isn’t quite as frequented as other Florida honeymoons, so you’ll have more privacy.
Key West honeymoon is best for combining a slow pace with plenty of activity (if you wish). For sunsets, warm ocean air, and historical haunts it’s a great part of Florida that many honeymooners return to again and again, having fallen in love with its charms. In terms of what to see here, definitely swing by the Key West Lighthouse and the Hemmingway house.
During the afternoon you may also want to go to Mallory Square for some shopping or just to enjoy the street performers. Key West is but one of the islands in the Florida Keys, so if you want variety – you’ve got it! A glass bottom boat ride is well worth your time if you want to see dramatically colored coral reefs. Romantic Miami Honeymoon:
Honeymooning in Miami is convenient because the airport is right there! Most people drive or get a transport from the airport over to the South Beach region. By far this area offers some of the best beachfront you’ll ever see and a boardwalk like neighborhood for food and shopping. Note, however, that South Beach has become very “trendy” for Florida honeymoons and romantic vacations. So while you might see some famous faces, you’re also likely to spend a little more when staying here. And once the sun goes, down the party heats up. Dance the night away at a club, then fall into a comfortable bed together at either a resort or an inn.
St. Augustine Honeymoon:
For a slightly different pace, you might visit St. Augustine which is the oldest community in the United States. While this Florida honeymoons region is certainly rich in history, what brings honeymooners here are the inns. You’ll find a hide away that fits your budget without a problem, and nearly all of the lodging is close to eateries and shopping.
For real romance at dinner go over to the Columbia (St. George St.). This fine restaurant was established in 1905 and specializes in delicious Spanish cuisine. Don’t miss out on the scallops – they’re an aphrodisiac! After dinner you can stroll over to the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, St. George Street, or the Spanish Quarter.
Couples who enjoy tennis and golfing will be pleased that Ponte Vedra is only 20 minutes away by car, which is where both the PGA and Association of Tennis Professionals make a home. You also have the option of walking and swimming miles upon miles of clean beaches where you could parasail, dive or surf.
Florida honeymoons: Universal Honeymoon
Last but not least on the list of the many potential spots to hang your hat on a honeymoon is Universal Studios. You’ll be treated to fantastic entertainment, beautiful hotels, clean pools and beaches, and of course all manner of rides. If you go here, do not miss the chance to eat at Emeril’s right on the City Walk, offering Louisiana-inspired removes.
