Colombia Wedding

In October 2006 I was married in Santa Marta, Colombia, my wife is Colombian born in Santa Marta and I am Canadian. To get married is a bit complicated with forms and certifications as Colombia wants to make sure it's not a sham wedding. To make a long story short, to rent the hall with lunch and cake included, for the people in this photo was somewhere in the range of $500.00 dollars total.

Romantic honeymoon spot in Colombia

A nice spot that my wife and I visited on a boat tour while in Cartagena, was just off Rosario Island, maybe 10 or 15 minutes minutes away.

San Andrés, this is an island off the coast of Nicaragua, but is part of Colombia, is also very beautiful.
