Take an early morning or late afternoon stroll on the beach for a memorable romantic experience.

A great place for a walk is on Stocking Island. Only about a mile across Elizabeth Harbor from the Club Peace & Plenty, Stocking Island separates Exuma from the Ocean. This is one of the reasons for the calm waters in the Harbor and features a romantic nature walk. A Ferry will take you to the island, docking at the Peace & Plenty Beach Club run by Doralee. From the club, it is a short hike to beautiful secluded beaches and a stunning ocean view.

Abaco National Park is a true escapists' dream for those who don't mind rustic accommodations. The hiking is fantastic - there are few spots as dramatic and serene as the headland at Hole-in-the-Wall - a highlight of this forested park and a last refuge for the Bahama parrot.

Inagua National Park is home to one of the Western Hemisphere's largest flock of flamingos and a secluded and romantic spot for a walk and relax by the saline ponds which attract many water birds.

Swim With The Dolphins - Naturalists can take the ferry from Port Lucaya to Sanctuary Bay's Dolphin Experience, where bottlenose dolphins frolic alongside humans.

For diverse dining options and Nightlife head to Harbour Island. Check out the charming historic village of Dunsmore Town, "Briland' with a stunning pink-sand beach.

Visit Abaco's Loyalist Villages on Elbow, Man O' War, and Green Turtle. Splendidly preserved, colorful clapboard houses have been pickled in aspic, and the Loyalists' descendants have managed to retain some of their old ways, adding a living-museum quality.

The International Bazaar contains a number dutyfree shops that sell imports from all over the world.

Saturday's carnival-like West End Move invites guests to participate in island activities such as conch cracking and hair braiding and demonstrations of the country's colorful Junkanoo festival.

Honeymooners can also book private walking tours and private boat rentals. More privately chartered boats can be rented for use with or without a crew.  Excursions can last anywhere from a day or two to an entire week.
